Our Oat Hay is a wonderful donation for animal sanctuaries, offering a long stemmed, seed topped hay that brings flavour and enrichment to animals in rescue care. For rescues caring for nervous or fussy eaters, the crunchy seed heads are often a brilliant way to tempt animals into eating well, something that can make a real difference during the early stages of recovery.

Lower in calcium than many other hays, Oat Hay is a particularly valuable donation for rescues supporting rabbits and guinea pigs prone to urinary issues, a common concern in animals who may have had limited access to proper nutrition before coming into care. It's also high in fibre, supporting healthy digestion and gut function while encouraging natural foraging and chewing behaviour that helps keep rescue animals mentally stimulated and settled in their new surroundings.

Thanks to the incredible success of our Christmas Rescue Box Appeal in 2023, we were able to support so many rescues in need. Sadly, many of our favourite rescues are still struggling with rising costs, so we've relaunched our Rescue Box Appeal to help provide hay, forage and essentials to the animals who need it most.

We've selected a few partner rescues to support, and these will rotate throughout the year, ensuring more rescues benefit from your generosity.

💡 If you add other products to your basket, those items will be shipped to your own address unless you let us know in your order notes that they should also be sent to the rescue.

Our packaging has been sourced with the environment in mind. All boxes are fully recyclable, and our bales are produced from recycled plastic that can also be recycled after use.

Delivery is £4.95 and sent with DPD on a next day trackable service.

When ordering a 5kg or 10kg eco box please ensure you have a dry/sheltered 'safe place' if you are not able to be home for your delivery.
